Salty Buns

150 g crushed white cheese
200 g plain yoghurt
1 egg
½ teaspoon baking soda
14 tablespoons plain flour
30 g butter
Vegetable oil
½ teaspoon salt


Whisk the egg and yoghurt into a big bowl. Add the white cheese, salt, and baking soda and stir well. Add flour to make soft dough. Put some vegetable oil on your hands to make small balls of dough (as big as an egg) and arrange them in an oiled baking dish. Make a small whole on the top of every ball and put some butter in it. Bake into e preheated oven until golden brown. The buns are ideal for a relaxed breakfast with a cup of fragrant coffee and ayran.
